Background Check Instructions
To complete background checks to be a Team Manager, Assistant Coach, Team Parent or Volunteer. All should sign up as Team Parent unless you are a coach. You will be using your Sport Connect account to fill out the application. You will then receive an email from JDP to complete your background. The following is a step-by-step process on filling out the application and a video from Sport Connect.
- Open your Sports Connect account
- Go to Volunteer on the left bar
- Choose add a volunteer
- Choose Team Manager, Assistant Coach or Team Parent
- Choose sign up or register user
- Choose yourself or add someone if it's not you registering.
- Choose Continue on bottom right
- Fill out application (might be mostly filled out)
- Fill out application completely
- Mandatory sections (you will not receive background from JDP without the following)
- Social Security Number
- Upload Gov issued ID
- You can add any other certifications you have but not mandatory
- Choose Continue and finish application process
You will receive an email from JDP to complete your background.
